CPG means consumer packaged goods: products consumers buy regularly, such as food, beverages, personal care items, household products, and supplements. In design, CPG packaging considers how a product looks, communicates, opens, ships, protects its contents, and performs on a retail shelf. Effective work aligns structural design, graphics, materials, and production requirements with the brand’s sales channel and customer expectations.
